- First, loosen the soil with a trowel where you plan to plant the bulb.
- Dig a hole with a trowel or a bulb planter.
- Plant the bulbs in the hole with the tip up and the bulky side down. We supply a large size flower bulb (5 cm (2”) or more), these are usually planted about 15 cm (6”) deep and 5 to 15 cm apart (2 to 6”) from each other.
- Close the hole with the excavated soil and press it slightly.
If the soil is very dry, immediately give some water. The bulbs then make roots faster and are better protected from excess rain or cold. Optionally you can cover them with some leaves or other organic matter.
Now wait until your blooming spring starts!
