Sir Alf Ramsey
Named after the legendary British national football coach, Dahlia Sir Alf Ramsey has won numerous awards at flower shows in the UK. It is indeed an impressive flower: a genuine dinnerplate dahlia in lilac and pale pink, with a cream-coloured heart. The plant can grow up to at least one metre in height and is therefore best planted at the back of a border. Sir Alf Ramsey is a good cut flower for bouquets and therefore an ideal choice for ‘pick-it-yourself’ gardens.
